Don't Get Stuck With a Bunch of Costly Repairs When Purchasing Your New Home!
Purchasing a home is a substantial investment, typically it’s one of the largest investments you will ever make. That’s why it’s essential you take every precaution necessary to not only protect your financial investment, but also to protect your family.
A home buyer inspection can uncover issues with a home to help you make an informed and logical decision when moving forward with purchasing a house. Maybe there’s a few minor issues that the current homeowner should take care of before signing on the dotted line, or maybe there’s a structural issue that’s too expensive to repair and it would be better if you kept looking.
Without a detailed home buyer inspection of a home, you’re left without those important details of the home that will help you to make the best decision for you and your family.
What's Inspected During a Home Buyer Inspection?

Trademark Home Inspection, LLC guarantees your report within 24hrs but usually it is delivered the same day and often the inspector will deliver it onsite.
That depends on the size of the home, the age of the home, and how many things are being found a good rule of thumb is to allow at least three hours.
Yes, we encourage everyone involved to be present during a home inspection, or mold inspection. Not only will we be investigating the current condition of the home but will also be giving many tips on how to maintain the home.
We tend to book out between 5 and 10 days however we know time is a factor and the inspection needs to be done sooner than that. In those cases we do everything possible to fit your inspection in, as long as it doesn’t make it so the inspector will have to rush anyone’s inspection.
In general a home inspection is not a pass or fail test. The home inspection will detail any major or minor issues with the home, highlight the positives, and teach you to maintain the home in the future. From there you can discuss with your Realtor if the “Dollars Make Cents” to move forward with the home or what other options you may have for the next steps.
Though our inspectors don’t have a crystal ball to determine exactly when the roof will need replacing. Your inspector can usually give you a good idea if the roof is close to end of life.
What a Great Question! In general a home inspection does not determine the value of the home. We recommend reading our blog What is The Difference Between a Home Inspection and an Appraisal.
